This is not true with Wilkes & Riley Non-Iron shirts. The fabrics are woven from two-ply extra-long staple American grown Supima cotton. This fiber is world renowned for its superior softness that continues to get softer with age. Additionally, Supima cotton is much stronger than regular cotton fiber which allows our shirt to wear longer. A proprietary manufacturing process ensures the highest wrinkle-free performance rating for a 100% cotton shirt. This process also ensures that there is virtually no shrinkage. But good to supervise your dog for safety.In case they are a chewer, and they decide to destroy the cover. But the ball works fine without the cover too!
