A stunning and well-documented Debbie Reynolds custom made couture gown by Bob Mackie himself for her 1978 Las Vegas performances and promotional pictures. Reynolds is perhaps best known for her starring performance alongside Gene Kelly in the 1952 film 'Singin' in the Rain', her Oscar-nominated leading role in the 1963 film 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown', as well as the 1996 film 'Mother' for which she was a Golden Globe nominee.
Bob Mackie designed this seductive beaded showstopper with tons of stage movement in mind. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; heavenly semi-sheer midnight blue silk with complex fringed beadwork to resemble a starry night sky. I love the sparkling rhinestones and bugle bead ombré effect. The embellishments alone represent weeks of couture hand beading at the highest level. A chic cowlneck flows into a low cut plunge illusion and the most magical over-sized wing sleeves. The low backside hourglass silhouette with dramatic high slit is so ultra flattering. Early custom Bob Mackie pieces are rare, as they were not mass produced and were incredibly expensive to make. Bob Mackie has dressed many legends such as Madonna, Tina Turner, Marilyn Monroe, Diana Ross, Judy Garland and Cher to name a few. Perfectly working center back zipper and bodice double lining. Only sign of wear is an older repair to the sleeve which is not noticeable when worn, as well as some missing fringed beadwork. Brushes
These brushes are nice for getting into the small and difficult to reach parts of animals mouths. However part of what makes them difficult to reach is the fact that my pets put up such a fight for teeth brushing anyways. But these do make it slightly easier. The brushes are soft, the bristles are dense, and the fact that there’s different shapes of brushes is helpful as well.

The cutest little toothbrushes for the kitkats!
Never before recently had I contemplated brushing my cats' teeth. But at their most recent visit with the veterinarian, my boy kitty and one of his sisters had tartar on their teeth and I was admonished for not cleaning their teeth regularly at home. Yikes! The veterinarian gave me her recommendations. I ordered these toothbrushes to go with a toothpaste I was able to order through our compounding pharmacy. And I thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to brush their teeth. But our boy kitty actually likes it - sort of! I think he really likes the extra attention and it probably feels kind of good to get the gunk off his teeth. His sister is another story. She doesn't hate it, but I do need to give her treats before and after. These little toothbrushes are just perfect. I love the little cases included. They work perfectly and are just the right size. That makes them easy to use. And it doesn't hurt that they are absolutely adorable little toothbrushes!
